Title: The Galvanic Rhino (Galvanic Warthog added p2, January 26)

Made from a Happy Meal toy, plus other bits and bobs.

This is very likely for L.A.S.T. army for Valor Steel and Flesh.

Post by: Froggy the Great on January 26, 2012, 01:10:56 PM: I've got a second of these toys converted and primed, too - having done the first and gotten to know the model I was able to do the conversion (and rivets) in two hours yesterday. I didn't have the same capacitor I used for the boiler, so this one's got a longer snout and will hopefully be a convincing Galvanic Warthog.

We'll see what happens.

Not sure about your part of California, but I find thrift stores and garage/yard/boot sales a much better venue, if you keep at it. A) Plenty of items going back to now-out-of-production, B) a lot fewer empty calories, unless there's a kid in front selling homemade baked goods. :D

And don't be afraid to stir up the Free box!

I've tried some Dollar Stores in the past but haven't really had any luck.

We do get garage sales in and around the neighborhood from time to time.
