Since I had the camera out, I thought I'd give it another shot to try and take pics of this conversion. I haven't been able to get any good pictures of it (again), but maybe some of you will be able to recognise the characters and vehicle? Indy is just there for scale, so don't mind him.

Oh now that's ace!
Nice one WK. :)
-
Great stuff W Knight, Is this one of the plastic ones? if so it is even more spectacular :)
-
No, this is one's a corgi willys jeep. Repainted and slightly converted.
The figures are my own sculpts using Ebob puppets.
I still need to finish the sculpts of the twins to ride in the back.
-
Thats excellent! 8)
-
Hey I recognise that driver!
Nice work.
-
It's Phil Robinson and his sailor sidekick!
-
Splendid, just needs the white dog to complete it.
-
I have the dog with my foot-versions that I still need to paint, but I think I'll have to resculpt it as it's a bit too big.
-
Good work WK.
I'm currently working on my Tintin set, great minds think alike!
-
I did sort of a cop-out on my dismounted Haddock as I converted him from a Brigade Games merchant seaman that almost looked the part. Meanwhile, I have standing versions of the twins that are 90% finished and seated versions for the jeep that are 75% finished and have been so for a very long time. :(

Me too :)
I have Tintin and Snowy, Haddock, Professor Calculus and the Thompson Twins are in the post. They're all joining the French Resistance
I am debating whether to buy a Scheltrum VSF weapon for Calculus, it's a bit expensive so I might make one instead.

What figures are you using for Calculus and the twins?
-
What? And ruin my big reveal?
All in good time my friend, all in good time.....

It really is dead simple!
-
hehehe, it's like fingernails on a blackboard isn't it?
-
It's a really cheap camera so I don't know if it'll help. Besides, if I get better, you'll all be able to see my mediocre painting...

OK, you got a point here!

However, why not make them smaller to sharpen them a bit more?
-
Yeah, why not. Anyway, I will check out the tutorial before giving it another try. One never knows afer all. If it turns out the pictures are sharper and you can see all the flaws in the painting, I can always make them smaller so you can't make it out very well...
