I've got some smaller ones to do aswell. I'll post some pics when I'm finished.

You have made a superb job on that, look forward to seeing the others.

"Impressive... Most impressive..."

That's wonderful painting.
I was hoping to do some of these but mine won't be anywhere near as good as yours so I might not bother after all
-
Lovely.
The factory paintjobs have kind of grown on me though, so I think I'll keep mine as they are and just touch them up a bit here and there. Of course, it means I'll have to paint that Robotech walker in the same colour scheme too...

Can easily see those striding across the frozen steppes of Mother Russia.

Thank You all for your comments! :)
I've been finding these At43 models a real joy to Re-paint!

Just completed some Armored Battle Suits as Close Support for the Walkers.
Hope you like them!

Brilliant, like the funky backdrop :)

Fantastic! I still haven't begun on mine (though that giant walker is mostly assembled now, but I'm waiting on some crew figures).
-
Great stuff Pappa  . You're really not helping me resist getting into WWWII
-
nice !!!!! will you make a game Repord with these Mechs ??
-
Thanks for the comments!! :)
Phil, I decided to see what I could do with my meagre knowledge of photoshop. Glad you like it!
WK: looking forward to seeing your stuff. What minis are you using for crew?
Overlord:Just do it.....you know you want to!
Grimm: I intend giving the Secrets of The Third Reich rules a blast as there is the facility for using your own mechs and assigning stats. I'll post the results.

Awesome stuff William. :D :o
Cheers, Norbert.

Beautiful, very Russian, and that chipped whitewash effect is marvellous.
Of course, your image background should have a "red" tint. ;) :D

I got some Bolt Action soviet tank commanders to peer out of the hatches. Also have some regular infantry models from BAM and TAG as well as some BAM tankriders that will go on the platforms. Haven't really decided what bigger guns I could use on the platforms. :?
-
Nice.
-
I'm beginning to feel attracted to that range... too
-
Glad you like them! :)
Chris: I originally did the background red, but it looked TOO much! I'll probably have another go!
WK: Looking forward to seeing them. I'm quite tempted by Blacktree Design's Soviets. They're a little big, but nice minis.

I have a lot of the Black Tree Designs Germans and I like them. I might add some of their Russians. Must check out what they have in support weapons that I could use. :)

They've got a prettty comprehensive selection of Russian stuff including support weapons etc. They are at a reduced price at the moment ( hoorahh!!).
How do your Germans compare in size with other manufacturers?
PM
-
They are a bit bigger than most, but not much and once based it usually doesn't matter (not to me anyway). The biggest difference is with Foundry and the old West Wind, which are small.
I will post a few comparison shots.
-
Right... some bad pictures that should showrelative scale reasonably well:
Note that the Pulp, West Wind and Foundry figures have thicker integral bases which helps evening the overall height...

Thanks WhiteKnight!
I see what you mean about the size compared to Foundry and Old Westwind.
Most of my minis are BAM and Artizan so it doesn't appear much of an issue.
Really appreciate that, i'll order some BTD Russians!

Hey now, I didn't even try this time.
Just snapped a few quick shots and uploaded the ones that were vaguely recognisable.
