Title: Original Batmobile
Post by: Weird WWII on 25 December 2007, 04:15:59 PM
Well White Knight found another gem, the original 1943 Batmobile in 1/43 by Corgie for use in your Pulp gaming.  It will look great chasing down a car full of gangsters or Nazi 5th Columnists.  Found and bought one on e-bay in less then a minute.

Great find WK and Merry Christmas,
Brian

The fin I can deal with.  The bat-mask grill, on the other hand, is just too weird.

There is a whole range of those, and a joker mobile. Very nice cars and spot on for 28mm figures.

Obviously built before the stealth technology kicked in.

Now if we could find the original Batplane, now that would be something to see.

it almost looks like you could use a toy bat and a plane.

The made some put-together diecast batboat and gyrocopter sets, but they're like 15 or 20mm sized. I was hoping to find one of the line shown in the original post, but none of them were to my taste. I don't think batman would be quite that outlandish. :)
