I need a few ww2 weapons to equip some 28mm figures with open hands. Kind of Artizan sized figures. Who does the best loose weapons, with a reasonable range of small arms to choose from?
Thanks :)

Bolt Action (now via Warlord Games). That's probably your best bet.
-
TAG do quite a few as well, if I recall.

I just bought a sprue of the plastic Bolt Action weapons from Warlord. They do both British and German sprues. They're very nicely sculpted and they will work with the minis I bought them for but they are quite fine. Not sure whether they would work with a lot of ranges. Artizan, maybe. I don't have any of their WW2 stuff to compare with. For four quid I suppose it's not the end of the world if you try and they don't work.

Gripping beast perhaps for rifles

An outside chance are the Crouchie early war WW2 minis now sold to Warlord, if he did weapons they would be ideal match as they were Owen sculpts. I know when he sold up he did give me a few bits and bobs such as lewis guns, brens and I think some rifles but not sure.

Ive been looking for some loose Lewis guns for my VBCW stuff but no one seems to be offering them anymore sadly.

Company B now have them in stock.

I have a series of German weapons coming out. They are the same scale as Artizan's.
