I am looking for figures for the Clowns from Akira in 28mm.
-
There was a set for Cyberpunk 2020 called "The Bozos". It'll be somewhat hard to get today, though.

There is also the Jokers from Taban Miniatures:

The clowns in Akira always struck me a just big guys in tank tops and baggy trousers with facepaint. I reckon you could pick up any big guys in plain clothing and paint them to look the parts. I always thought a Delaque gang from Necromunda would look good with clown facepaint.

Awesome, I was thinking about how you'd do this the other day (though I was thinking more along the lines of a mix of void and kitbash bikes for some racing fighting fun).
For the Jokers though, I reckon what this chap said:

Although if you wanted some more obviously 'clowny' figures, black cat bases do the moonfleet ones too:

These are old Grenadier sculpts. They're now in production from Mirliton: http://www.mirliton.it/product_info.php?pName=bozos-clowns

Reaper do 2 variations of this:

Comes with 2 heads too.
Also Tengu do a couple of Clown Zeds but no reason why you can't paint them alive or just use the bits:

There is always Mr. Jingles from Spinespur, for something completely different.

There's also a Killer Clown in the HorrorClix Freakshow line (or whatever it was called).
Edit: Herp Derp, this thread appeare in my "unread posts" list, didn't realize the last post was written two months ago ::)
