Here's a quick paint job on a Stikfas toy. The plastic that these toys are made of seems to clean up better with a hobby knife blade as opposed to files. I assembled the figure, posed it and then ran superglue into the joints to fix the pose. I couple of layers of Games Workshops Roughcoat before priming.
The robot is 4.5" tall from the base to the top of the antenna.

I think he looks great! What did the origional toy look like and what did you use for you modifications?

They usually look like this. I built him straight from the box. And yes it comes with a teddy bear.

That looks awesome! Where did you get the toy?

I got it from the game store where I work. They are called Stikfas and I think you can find them in most toy stores.

Great idea! Simple but well executed... might have to borrow!
Stikfas are made in Singapore originally I believe? See http://www.stikfas.com/

The Teddy Bear looks like he might be just about the right size to build a TeddyBear unit. How does it size up with the Eureka Teddy bears? How many of the Teaddy bears do you have?
-
Nice work, but I think you should add the teddy

Wow, this is a blast from the past. The teddy bear went to an ex-girlfriend I'm afraid. Stikfas seems to have shut down their online store but maybe Ebay could help.
