I am preparing to run a Sci-fi game loosely based on Warhammer 40K/Star Wars and I am desperately seeking some 28mm mutants. I want to run a few scenario's where my players are pitted against them. Can anyone direct me where I can find said miniatures or am I going to have to break down and model my own? :? All help is greatly appreciated.
I hope this was the right place to put this post....

Well, "mutant" covers a lot of ground. What sort of mutant "look" are you going for?
There's L4D-style mutant zombie figures from Hasslefree and Tengu:

Ramshackle Games has post-apocalyptic themed mutants:

Hell Dorado had some cool/gross mutant-ish demons. Dunno where they're currently available though.
There's these disturbing looking mofos from Padulon:

Mortimer and his GF, as well as Piranha boy from Four-A:

That's just the stuff off the top of my head. There's lots more out there if you have to time to sift through CMON an other dealer sites. Reaper also makes bits packs with tentacles and claws and suchlike, so you can do limbs swaps to convert any regular figure into a mutant:

A fair number of their multi-part minis can also be purchased as individual bits instead of whole figures, so there's a lot of "free range" conversion bits to be had if you root through their figure catalog.
Similar conversion bits packs are available from other manufacturers as well. These look nice, IMO:

Hope that helps.

As said it dose depend on style and price ofc. Think Reaper do a few mutants and you could use GW chaos demons.. think most Chuthulu Lovecraft creatures could be used as mutant so have a look in that forum tread on were to buy.
