There was some inquiry to the horses that Grubman and I have in our photos. I bought mine from a local grocery chain called H-E-B.

Are those correct scale for 28/30 mm?

They are very close, perhaps just a smidge big, but you can hardly tell.  In this picture from the Davestown thread you can see one of these horses "tied" to the hitching post in front of the Gunsmith (and another in the background in the corral).  The one with a rider is from the BS line, as are all the miniatures.:
