With Brytenwalda, Dux Bellorum, and the impending Dark Age Lard set, we are spoiled for Dark Ages rules! Not to mention the Age of Arthur WAB book, probably the best sourcebook for gaming that I've ever come across.
Really looking forward to getting some games in!

Thanks Prof.

I agree.
Another ruleset worth mentioning is 'Song of Arthur and Merlin' by Dan Mersey and published by Ganesha Games.

How embarassing! That is the one I play the most! My 8yr old son and I love the game! ::)
Great fun, as all the Ganesha games are...

Been playing a fair bit of Dark Age stuff myself recently - great fun has been had with Brytenwalda and SoAM.

With Brytenwalda,
Hang-on, what is Brytenwalda? I must have missed this one. :o

Brytenwalda is free set of Dark Age skirmish rules.
They are available here - http://brytenwalda.blogspot.com/
