I noticed it cost 10 pfennig less in Berlin, probably due to the city's frontier status in the cold war :D

:D Ridiculous? i beg to differ! imagine the pollen count and hayfever(debilitating)! let us look at the fang like growths under the edge of the fronds obviously some sort of thorn(probable hollow or poisonious) and let us not forget the vines strength(they can crack stone you know!)at keeping captives from escaping.

probably think triffids are tulips with delusions of grandeur too!

Now you want an evil plant try kudsu from the southern u.s.(i am reliable informed by my wife that it will consort with spiders and is responsible for Spanish language courses in collage and is also suspected in the continuing disappearance of left socks from laundry world wide )
if you watch it nothing happens but the moment you turn away it will move closer to the nearest object in order to consume it(trees,cars,powerlines,etc...)then ofcourse you then have to look out for all the sombrero wearing,left sock footed storm trooper spiders that do kudsu's bidding(truly sobering my friend,truly sobering!)  :D
