from Rackhams AT 43 game; Karman preview:

I just love these minis and will get some for sure...
-
Finally, they give them bubble helmets! Dang! :o
-
They are superb sculpts....
Shame the painting quality is never really near the standard as the previews. can always repaint tho :)
-
I always thought I'd make a kriegaffe out of one of these.
-
I agree, it's nice.
-
The bubble helmet really makes it stand out.
Bet it could be used for 40mm as well...
-
I really think between this and the Red Blok walkers, I could cobble up a really spiffy Metal Gear Solid-inspired Strange WW2 campaign involving Japanese-built super walkers, Soviet Uberkriegaffen, and taciturn, sneaking heroes.
It'd be fun with .45 Adventures, too.
Flaw: Philosobabble: If this model loses a comparative Brains (BR) test, it can only spout off incomprehensible and angst-ridden bits of bad philosophy. This model can do nothing on its turn except move at half its normal Speed. This model can act normally if it is wounded.

Imagine Nick Fury as an ape....
I'd love to turn a couple into Kriegaffe too, but I know fine well I wouldn't even if I bought them. I can never seem to concentrate long enough these days to...
... Look! Squirrels!
-
I really wish they would have released these guys earlier. I have been wanting to pick some up for ages.

Do not worry; AT 43 is a very fine game.
I got into it via some cheap ebay buys and must say that I am really amazed how nice the game plays.
My favourite SF game right now.

Hmmm.... all he needs is a nice waffen colors and a few Iron Crosses for good measure.

Ich was more thinking of a Red Star and Stalins "Ape Mans" (http://news.scotsman.com/ViewArticle.aspx?articleid=2688011)

Now THAT'S a good topic for a pulp scenario... 8)

Yes, they are great at ThrowingStonesFromInsideAGreenhouse(TM) n-th Edition(R)...
-
If you ignore the Tau-style chin guns it's a bit like a Vanship from Last Exile.... interesting.

That's what I was thinking.
-
I didn't notice the Vanship resemblance until you pointed it out. It does look quite similar, doesn't it?

Cool mini. What are you hinting at Chris?

I think Chris means that they love to be 'inspired' by others...then claim that they thought of it first anyway! (ie Aliens to Scotia Kryomek..then all of a sudden 'Nids get a make over and the IP warnings get stamped everywhere!).
As long as we all remember that 99.9% of everything is inspired by well everything...all's good.
;)

I noticed some of GW's models look uncannily like Terminators. Some of their space elves remind me of Nemisis the Warlock. As does the entire religious themes of the space marines... and their giant robots come to think of it.

Not just me then. You a fellow Welshman Caradog?
