A very quick paint up of one of these lovely minis (I built and primed it too quickly and didn't notice the excess glue on the right arm so I've tried to make it look like damage to the armour)

Great work!
I like your color scheme for them

That's a quick paint job?
Looks great to me. :-*
I think the excess glue worked in your favor and gave the model even more character!
-
Sweet!! :-* if you hadn't pointed out the glue I wouldn't have noticed!
Are these minis supposed to be a different take on Star Wars Stormtroopers?
-
Great paintjob :-*
Do you know if they are allready available?
-
Lovely figure and paint job :-* :-* :-*
Never heard of these before are they new?
-
Nice but I'd have to do one in white mate, Sturmtruppen and all that ;).
-
Nice painting, and I like the body armour, but the heads overdo it for me. I do like the look of the heavier armoured troops, so far only existing as 3D renders.

Of course in white, what else ;)

Not my scheme - Mark's. Check his blog

What a great job! Thank you David... Going to throw some Kriegsmarine in with the replacement arms for you as a way to say thank you.

...and as the 6x6 has a somewhat WWII armour feel

hmmm - needs something on those shoulder pads....

Lovely paint job on the miniature, its very nice. Looks a lot like Kerebos stuff? The vehicle is very nice indeed, both as a model and what you have done with it :)
-
Are they plastic or resin? They look very nice
-
Metal

The turret definitely screams PzKpfw IV.
Great paint,

Nice work, as usual.
How do they compare to other figs like Pig Iron or Copplestone? They hefty or more spindly like Infinity?

I'll do some comparison pics but... taller and less bulky than PI; same height as tallest GOT but slightly bulkier: taller than Hasslefree adventurers (and Grymn :D); same height and build, near enough, as Mercs; taller and slimmer than 40K cadians. Don't have any Copplestone. sorry.

This may or may not help?

Thanks D and NG. Appreciate it.
Might be time to swap out some older figs for a squad or two.

I just updated it so you will not see that nasty red out of stock gibberish :) Your good to go!

I am too tempted, they are very useful for 1947 "What if?" scenarios...
-
Very keen. Thanks.
First order placed.

They are metal :) \m/

I cannot wait to get my paws on a 20-troop box of these! Dwartist, your work as always is stunning and inspiring. Just curious-what is the base color you used on the trooper? Thanks!
-
I'm confused?! I don't see those metal figures anywhere on the website that is linked to above?
Am I blind...or just stupid...? o_o lol
they look great BTW!

Metal figures are OOP and have been replaced (are being replaced) by the KS funded plastics (absolutely wonderful castings). They should be generally available soon. Have a look at the 'Eisenkern sniper' I've posted here and the 'Eisenkern 5-man squad' WIP fo reference.

Whoops...sorry I didn't realize that the first few posts on this thread were from a year ago March!
Sadly plastic holds no interest for me at this time.... :?
Cheers anyway...they are great looking figures.

Thankyou! Colours are Vallejo London Grey as the base and this is gradually lightened with Light Grey until pure Light grey is used on the edges of the armour. Lining is Dark grey and Black (both heavily thinned).
