The first round is certainly opening with some tough matches...

Hard for the competitors, but great fun for the observers!  ;D

Well, we the viewers, definitely get some great eyecandy this LPL! Another two great entries... But I do like the bold and crisp colours of the first entry just little more. Great show, guys!

Oooh, tough choice! Superb painting on lovely 20mm models or a great little diorama made with terrain and miniatures. Well done to both!

both very nice. Tough choice between well done technicolor and well done muted.

I want a closer view of the pig minis, those look like good pigs, always nice to have some good pig minis  lol  what manufacturer are they?

Both are amazing! Only problem is I'm not so crazy about the painting I did on my own DF minis, now that I see these! :o

Well done!

Fantastic work on those 20mm Dark Future figs. That is a sweet, crisp paintjob.

Lovely jobs on both, but I thought the 20mm figures looked better than most 28s..............  8)

Yes, both superb - naturally from two of my favourite painters  :)
Very advanced figures 1988 surely? And are they 20mm? Wow!

The Dark Future are 20mm?  I'd presumed they were 28s!  :o

both very nice. Tough choice between well done technicolor and well done muted.

Which is which, i don't think either of us has ever been accused of being muted before  lol

Excellent shot with a diorama feel to it. Is the bloke a blacksmith or a slaughterman? Is the girl washing her face in the trough or crying for her doomed pig? I need to know the answers  ;)

Great paintwork Alex, love the pig  :-*

Both of these entries are brilliant - this is the toughest round for me to decide on so far!

My thoughts exactly!

Such a close one to call.
Two exceptional entries, probably the best of the round (IMO).

Although I love the Prof's style and set up, I had to go for the DF chaps.
Deciding factor between the two paintjobs could only be settled by the scale.
In this case seeing 20mm that look better than most 28's swung it for me.

He's a blacksmith, Chris. And the girl is just looking for her lost toy, not washing her face or drinking  in the pig's trough  ;D

Congrats to your win, Chris, well played!

;D I'm falling in love with those Dark Future models... If only GW did not discontinue so many ranges/games ....

Well done both of you, Actually love both entries and while the prof's setup and paintjob are terriffic, I just love how the Dark Future boys/galls turned out a bit more.

Congrats to your win, Chris, well played!

Thanks Alex, I think it's mainly the well loved GW "antiques" that won the votes. The paintwork's pretty much on par  8)

Artwork of both is superlative, the only way I could choose was the type of gaming I'd be likely to participate in.
