Title: Stripping resin.
Post by: Mr.Marx on 04 March 2012, 10:40:03 PM
Hey all

Ive got some nasty lookin' old M5 Half Tracks (battlefront ones) that I want to strip the paint (and other stuff - decals, spackle ect) off and put back into service in the United States Space Force. Can anyone suggest a product that would strip them and tell me how to best use it?

Also - has anyone ever ordered from 'Heer46'? He does some very nice M3 Canvas Covers that would save me modeling the interiors.

Cheers

MM

As mentioned in a previous post: To get the paint off plastics, I have been using Dettol.

Works a treat on plastics.

Here is short article on the subject:

A friend has used it on Dystopian Wars resin models without any issues.
