After all this 25 years of Rogue Trader and 40K things, madness struck me and I had to buy the old Rogue Trader Book. (via Amazon, I got it there a lot cheaper than on the bay) ;D
Unfortunately thats not the end of the story, because after reading through the book another idea came to my mind, means I am thinking about getting some of the nice old Rogue Trader plastic Space Marines.
That brings me to my question, on ebay I found some sprues in different colors: white, red and green, has the RTB01 been produced in all these colors or are some of them imitations?
A friend of mine who bought the box years ago showed me his sprues and they are white.
Maybe some veterans here can help me. :)

Mine were dark blue.

Mine were beige.

Thank you all for your answers! Now I know I do not have to care about the colour of the plastic.
By the way, if anyone wants to sell some ot these plastic oldies contact me. ;)

I remember these well.
First RTB01 releases were in blue plastic, followed by green, subsequent releases where then beige/white.
Never saw the red ones though. I bought my sets direct from Gamleys (South East England toyshop and citadel stockist), Athena (yes the poster and then book people) used to have stocks and our local Boots used to too before the days of the Games Workshop Shop. (They also had some of those great old framed dioramas on display that graced the old citadel journals and compendium mags. Anyway enough of this trip down memory lane...
I have a stack of bits that I might consider shifting at some stage so shoot me a pm.

Even when it pains me to contemplate, and I'm still firmly on the fence about this mind, I have a full box of RTB01 sprues stashed away, with which I'm not planning to do anything for years to come.
So don't get your panties into a bunch yet, but I just might summon the strength to part with some of them. I'll have to do some serious soul searching and reality checking there, but who knows... ::)

Yup mine were blue, brings back fond memories :)

I love how many people immediatly know what RTB01 means.

Yeah The original Epic/Space Marine/Adeptus Titanicus stuff was all multi coloured plastic it often varied ;)

Yup, green and blue space marine LR's, rhinos and marines, grey IG and marine expansion sets, green orks, (naturally :D) and eldar and biege squats and later IG just off the top of me head guv!
:)

Dark green, dark blue and beige (later stages) for me.
The green and blue were harder plastics than the beige (which cut easier).
Rhinos and land Raiders were the same beige plastic.
GW subcontracted out the plastics manufacturing at that stage and basically got the colour of plastic available that was cheapest at the time (as in "We've got green atm for $XX per thousand sprues, or you can wait a few months and get the beige, but it's going to cost more.)

My first marines were mid-green, second lot were light beige. Takes me right back to a youth drooling over the latest releases in WD.
-
mine were beige,
Rogue Trader madness hit me also about 6 months ago, and I had to buy all the books :P. Then I realized that only need the Rogue trader book for my 15mm gaming not the others. OH well... madness sometimes takes over :)

Mine were beige.
Mine too.
-
Mine were beige also! Probs the best color for the plastics
-
Never had the RTB01 marines (though always and still do want some); but my plastic squat were biege/grey.

I did have some squats and guard plastics from RT that were the same beige plastic as the later RTB001 boxes.
Then they went to boring grey.
The Fantasy mixed regiment (dwarfs, dark elves, and something else) were white plastic.
