Sometimes busy backgrounds actually detract from the painting as the figures get lost in the scene. Bashi-bazouks is what happens when it works. Really good job. Where did you get the buildings from?

Ooooh Bashis, my favourite figs for the Sudan ;D
-
I agree, the diorama is beautiful :-*
-
I love the British chap in Frank's entry, having a nice cup of tea up on the roof of the building on the left - lovely detail! Quite apart from the painting (love the different tones in the whites), the buildings are amazing!
-
Warm and cold whites on Franks entry are wonderful (as is the rest).
-
Another request for the building maker, please.
The diorama composition is one of the best I've seen with wargaming miniatures.
Good luck.
-
Love your figures, Frank.
Outstanding photo.

Men in white vs men in black eh?
Astonishingly good clarity on the BBs though, superb doesn't do them justice

Thank you for your kind comments and good luck to Broonkah!
