Hi guys, need some help.
Who does a good Gothic Cathedral Ruin?
I'm looking for one that is about 20-30cm long and with a central ruined tower - like so:

You could produce something from Games Workshop WH40K ruins, if you want generic bits and can eliminate details such as Imperial emblems.
-
Dominic,
Check out the ruins at:

I'd recommend Hirst Arts.
-
I'd probably second Hirst Arts.
If you don't fancy homecasting there are people who just sell blocks - there's an eBay seller called WWG (WoldWideGames) that does quite a bit, and there are plenty of others around.
Otherwise Hovels have a ruined church (H54), not quite what you need but it has a tower :

Armorcast had some, don't know though if the new owners produce these as well. IIRC, some molds and masters were sold to different people.
-
Monolith do some nice pieces as well:

No complete churches/cathedrals, but you could make quite an extensive one out of the components.

I second JollyBob's suggestion of Monolith Designs. You could make an extensive cathedral from their church ruins. Excellent stuff it is. :)

Good pic lowtar, thanks, i never could have imagined them being that big..
-
Thanks for the suggestions guys!
Will bear in mind when I get around to the Cathedral!
Separately, any idea where I can get plain, smooth Gothic arches about 5cm tall?
This is what I'm looking to do:

Wow, I'll have to start entering tournaments, then. I'm very good at incompetence

http://www.mammoth-miniatures.co.uk/ has some windows that are 4cm high under the accessories
-
Check out HirstArts (http://www.hirstarts.com/molds/molds.html), there are a couple of gothic moulds there which I think would suite you quite well.
-
Fortress Figures used to do some beautiful gothic arches and a really nice front door for a gothic style church... they don't list their building numbers at the site anymore but perhaps they would still cast some up for you?
-
Hi Dominic, sorry for the late reply. I'll try and photograph my armourcast ruin cathederal for you when we have better weather here in Canberra.
Tally Ho for now.
-
I have the Armorcast ruined cathedral as well, I was very happy with it when I got a deal on it years ago. I will be even happier to finally finish it off very soon.

I like this one from Pegasus Hobbies:

Hi Dominic,
We now have bright and Sunny days ahead so I've been busy with camera to get the pics for you.
You can also purchase separately the alter and pews. I've quite a few pews other than shown here as they make great barricades - especially against the evil hordes 8) actually that must be the opposing side :)

Thanks Dominic,
Have you found a suitable building?
Cheers.
-
Very pretty, Hele. Did you just take a hammer to that resin building?
-
Helen - not yet. I'm working on the Carentan factory first before I start thinking about the other buildings.

Hi Peder,
If I did it wouldn't have comeout like this 8)
You can buy a ruin version of the Cathederal as shown.
Its a great building and very useful for my Western front WW1.
Cheers from Downunder 8)
