A Robot Legionnaire-advancing from Hydras Robot Legion range.
Stunning Retro SF Pulp Robots that capture the spirit of this genre perfectly!

Best thing is that their minis are multipart kits with some customisation options.

Stunning work Agis
It's hard to tell from the photos, but on the lighter areas is it white or silver? Oh, and can I steal your colour scheme

It is white. And yes, please "steal" the scheme, thats what this forum is also about, or?

Hah! No problem. 8)
We have the .45 Adventure based Retro SF game and Scott Pyle of Supersystem fame is currently working on "Chaos on Cronos".
Cronos has again a character creation system in it, so no problem to write up some stats for Robots.
I am planning to use the Hydra Robots together with Killer Bs Robot Master as a leader.

Hi Agis
Just had a look at your web pages and the robots are very just lovely.
Had a quick squint around your other pages and really liked your Cthulhu stuff very detailed.
It looks like you will paint almost anything at all.
Cheers

Yup, you can also say that I just can't make up my mind...
Honestly, my website also represents my fields of interests over the years.
Example: Many GW stuff is still on my website, but I have not played any GW game since years, all Warmaster armies, the Dark Harlequins and many other models are sold. But they are still on my page!
Right now it is mostly WW2, Pulp, Superheroes and recently AT 43.

Funnily enough, I was looking at your Sisters of Battle models over the weekend as I spotted you were one of the playtesters when the Witch Hunters codex came out. I do have a hankering to get some of the Retro Raygun models from Hydra though - I've been watching Buster Crabbe era episodes of Flash Gordon recently and the mood is with me...

Ahh, the Sister of Battle...
Those where the days (where it was still fun to work with GW...)!
I really like the Codex Witchhunters.
But to wirk with GW is a real pain. I was asked countless times to proved this or that for a WD article ora feature on their website, worked my butt off, shipped the pictures (or story) and : !!!get no respones!!!
Asking what was wrong, no answer, asking again: dubius answer that the project had to be cancelled etc.
Examples are the Codex Exodites for Specialist games,
http://www.agisn.de/html/codex_exodites.html
the Grey Knight hobby project,
http://www.agisn.de/html/grey_knights.html
the "writw your own SM chapter" project etc etc.

After many disappointements I just gave up...
Even Rick Priestley once said: "We are quite bad to get outside help!"
Do not get me wrong there are many very decent people at GW (Rick for example, always a pleasure to work with him!), but all in all it is just a pain.

I know what you mean - I was one of the GW moderators on their forum for a number of years and sometimes it's hard work just for the sake of it.
ps - I think we used the same decals on our space marines...
