A short review of the plastic 1/144 scale Junkers 87 from Zvezda which I will be using for my German DAK company in Flames of War. Only needs a "proper" base.

I just bought some of their 38ts for FOW, a third of the price of their metal brothers and went together a treat, only 6 pieces in the kit............ :D

ARC has this 1/144 model build.

very nice piece! but isn't it a little out of scale for the fow pieces?
-
No, all FOW aircraft are 1/144, they actually look better. 1/100 aircraft look huge on the battlefield...............
-
Goodbye accuracy, cheers playability, i see =)
-
To be honest, aircraft are only placed on the field as a static marker, once they have attacked then they are removed. So accuracy of scale is not as important. Visually they look right.
Helicopters in the Vietnam FOW are usually to scale.
-
They only look small, because they're so high up in the sky, see? ;)
