So, I looked at the obvious culprits, GW, West wind and Blue Moon, but my eye is now looking at the Reaper range sold by Minifigs. ;D
Any more around that look better?

...Reaper range sold by Minifigs...
I always buy my reaper figures from...
http://miniature-heroes.co.uk/
... because Tim imports direct from US.
Only the one, but I used the Copplestone Mummy

Apart from Bob Murch's Cairo Police, where are the rest of the minis from?
-
I mostly used the Reaper "Nefsokar" mummies by Bob Ridolfi. They are a bit larger than my Copplestone and Bob Murch but after cutting off their bases they matched up well. I bought a few other Reaper mummies but found them much too large for my taste vis a vis my Archaeologists and Cultists.

Thanks, guys. After a root through my Warhammer Quest box, I found enough GW figures to make a warband for now and will replace them later. I cut off the tabs and stuck them on the same coins as my figures and that solved the massive height issue.

These Mummies are gorgeous;

Very nice those otherworld ones.
Best one in my humble opinion is the first gothic horror/curse of the mummy Mummy from Citadel miniatures, really captures the look for me, unarmed, bent and twisted and something about the head bandaging sculpt that really ozzes unlife:

You can still find them through ebay etc... (lifted this from a post on here in 2009, people really should use search a bit more often ::)).

Do you know "the size" of thesse Black Tree Design

-
Bezzo sent me GW Curse of the Mummy set of figures, but they are tiny compared to newer 28mm figures.
Those Black Tree Design figures look nice.
-
I made mines using GW zombie and skeletton bits, it should be a post about it somewhere, otherwise check here

I used Reaper for the mummy characters

Ilike your site, nice work on the mummies, too. I would never have thought to make my own. :o

I'm rather fond of my Forge of Ice "Possessed Mummies":

Jonas Frickmann painted these.

I love the blacks here! WOW very impressive, how do you achieve the shading on the black without making it look grey, flat or like shiney leather?
Here's the start:

Good start, can't wait to see more!

Thanks!
Well, I just had the rest of the West Wind range arrive today. I have the Artizan Crusades Imam on the table at the moment and then some more archaeologists to do. And then the Foriegn Legion and then..... Wow, this grew quickly!

Some figures I bought from Bezzo and the west Wind servant of Set:

Cool!
Are the Egyptian zombies conversions?

Allow me to chime in on the original topic :)
I think the HorrorClix mummy is rather nice, good detail and painting, obviously it can be enhanced further :)
I can only find crappy pictures of course -_-

Who makes those Egyptian Zombies? Those are great!
-
No idea, I bought them from Bezzo and they were a great match to the third figure.
-
that caanites range has some great minis for an egyptian pulp game, but i thought they where much bigger than 28mm, they state 36-40mm size at the top of the page.
Next to the anubis mini they look fine, but how big they look next to 28mm humans?
