Ran a playtest of the rules for Thrilling Expeditions: Valley of the Thunder Lizard last night. I had nine players all running Big Game Hunters. I'm working on doing a full write-up, but for now, here's a couple of pictures from the slaughter... errr, I mean game.

I'll post some more pictures up on the Speakeasy.

Very nice! What are those tan cliffs in the background of the top picture made of?
-
Real cliffs. It's a photoshop image dropped behind the photo from the game (I like to pull out the distracting store stuff when I can).
-
Ah that would explain why they look so real. Nice job!

Our local emporium (The Last Square) in Madison sell hunks of cork that make very impressive cliffs - just used naturally they look very good. I've made up boards for river canyons and am now working on a board to model (very loosely) Petra for a future adventure scenario. The stuff is relatively inexpensive and easy to work with.
There's a picture here (the canyon board is back right).

Those look great! I'd like to find some chunky cork like that to make a modular cavern system.

Didn't mean to hijack the thread, but the boards are 2' x 2'.
More info about the game is here:

and bigger pix of the boards can be seen here:

(I've been terribly lax in updating the website -- gotta get back to chronicling our games!)

I ordered a big box with sheets of cork bark like that from a whole sale retaier when I lived in Minneapolis. I think you bought it by the pound. Found it through google, as I remember it.

I am waiting for it :)
Nice pictures!
