Hi, here's a look at my new 15mm scale Armoured Light Utility Truck. It comes with a resin hull, and everything else is pewter, including the wheels, and this helps to keep the vehicle in place if you brush your hand against it during play, etc.
There are two options, one a small turret with a mini-gun and a large spotter scope, the other a missile rack with eight heavy anti-material missiles. Painted using my own pathetic painting skills!

In my Federation Forward setting it is called the M3918 Polecat. (It used to be called the Stoat until I was informed that another manufacturer has a small vehicle in 15mm with the same name!) But you can call it anything you want! ;)

Wrong scale for me, but it looks great. And I could see it being deployed side by side with the Aliens APC ;)
Any plans for a 28mm version? (one can only hope :-X)

It seems there are moves afoot to satisfy your upscaling demands:

I am glad of this as well :) .

Very nice. Can see myself with a few of these.

Right scale! (as there is no wrong scale ;D)!
Saw this earlier in the week, very very nice! :-*

As I already said it is one of the loveliest vehicles I ever saw in that scale, and I'll probably buy a few just because they are so 'cute'
However what I really need now is an up-scaled version of it, so I can fit a proper 90mm gun turret on it.

ooo even better, with any luck well get the longer extended version (with the turret at the back that moves to the rear to allow it to go through blast type doors........) in the same scale

I hate to be a naysayer, since I love the idea of upscaling these...
But, 1/56th, which may indeed mathmatically scale to 28mm, still looks a bit too small to my eyes.
Especially since most Sci Fi minis are at least 30mm (if not bigger)
But 28 mm love is better than none! Love the look of that thing.

In the TMP thread, they mention they up-scaled it to 1/50th scale. Let's hope for the best!

I think Jon had huge hands!

Yes, he mentions 1/50th scale:
I had it made to 1/50th scale, under the assumption that it's better to look slightly too big than slightly too small compared to 28mm models.
The main problem that I see with this vehicles is availability - the first run is going to be only 20 vehicles :?

28mm is an experiment for them...and they are starting small to test the waters. 20 seems fair for a first run to judge interest.
I am sure that they will easily sell the first 20 and get further production runs sorted out.

Well assuming this sells then they're going to do the Caimen apparently. Lets be honest, that one will sell far better than this one.

Yes, but this one is a nice complement to the Caiman. I can only hope to have enough money to buy a couple of both models :?

I'm not knocking this model, I really like it, although I'd have detailed it up a bit before moulding the 28mm version.
