Some years ago I have built a Carthago-Harbour gameboard. I used the Langton ships and buildings (scale = 1:1200) and the scenario was played with the CORVUS rules written by the SoA. The Prof asked for some pictures…and here they are:

Holy shit!! :o
Woah.
Are all the buildigns from langton? really? And are tey really in 1:1200? I mean, are they 6-8mm tall?
-
Truly inspirational :-* :-* :-*
I would also like to know if all the buildings are Langtons (I'm thinking not)
cheers
James

i gave a look on the site, and actually it seems that all them are from langton.
But still, they don't look 1:1200, but bigger! the details are a little big, like windows? Maybe a reference with a 28mm figure could clarify everygthing! =)
-
:o that is great :o i love it
-
Severely cool!!! ;D ;D
-
Extremely beatiful, Frank!
And just as a notice, we have our house about 2 km away from the Basin :)
-
:o :o :o
Awesome! I have no words! :-*
-
Thank you guys!!!
@Prof.: I really don’t know how much buildings I have used…have to count ;-)
@Sangennaru: Most of the buildings are from Langton, except the wall, towers and some of the bigger buildings, these are scratch build.
…and yes, they are all in 1:1200 scale. I will take of photo with a 28mm miniature at the weekend.
@Silversixx: This is interesting! I would really like to visit the harbor. Is there a museum as well?

Wow! That's impressive! I would love to see a reference, because i'm sculpting my own line of 1:1200 buildings (victorian style), so it could be really interesting! =)
All that buildings,... they costed a lot, didn't they? =(

There are a lot of museums in the area. The Carthage Museum near the excavation site (they've only dug up small parts of the city), and the Bardo Museum in Tunis (which is about 20 minutes away by car). You can also go by car up and down the coast and there's basically a museum in every major city as the coast has been inhabited for quite many millenia :)
And, the coastal stretch from Gamarth to La Goulette is full of ruins. And so is the mainland around the natural harbour which now makes up Tunis Harbour.
One of my favourite places to visit is Salaktis. Which has a small museum, and a lot of the ruins are now in the sea bed. So there's a lot of room for some diving if your into that. You can do that outside the coast of La Marsa and Carthage (La Marsa lies next to it) and you'll stumble inte some ruins on the bottom as well :)
Damn, and there's another museum up on the north eastern coast, in an area called Cap du Bon (where all the Harissa is from). I just can't remember where it is. I'll have to get back to you :)

Is the "Hollywood" style film set/stage near there?
