Title: Post Apoc Rulesets

Hi All,

I have a question concerning rulesets for this genre. 

I currently own for 20mm gaming, Car Wars 5th, Warlands, as well as a couple of the freebie rulesets.  I like Warlands a bit, but the army lists feel sort of restrictive towards pick ups and buggies.  You can design stuff, but i'm not clear how those vehicles fit into the army lists or if they would be Loners.  I could ofcourse just write up any army list I like...

I thought I had a veh design rules for Car Wars 5th, but I guess it's not part of the Div 5 Vehicle Guide....  Bummer.  So again, constrained by the cars published.  I'd prefer this set I think.

Dark Future doesn;t seem to have veh design outside of the veh's included in the game.  This is the next runner up, but DF seems only good for a Mad Max style road combat, which I do really like.

Does anyone have suggestions for a more well rounded ruleset that uses vehicles and peds?  Or some unofficial rule adjustments to any of the rulesets?

Steve never released Car design rules for 5th edition Car Wars.

I believe if you purchase the rule book for Warlands, it gives you the rules and points and the ability to make up a war band, mostly swapping in or out buggies and trucks. It also has the rules for the new car kits and the wind surfers.

You could try Nuclear Renaissance by Ramshackle Games. It is a free download. There are a lot of rules for vehicles in the ruleset. It is designed for 28mm though.
