Title: 17th Lancers
Post by: Yankeepedlar01 on 05 April 2012, 06:20:28 PM
I've completed the second base of Empress Miniatures' 17th Lancers for my Anglo-Zulu WAr project. Hope they find favour ~

Some of the nicest cavalry I've ever seen.  Great work.

They don't like it up 'em, Captain Mainwaring!  :o

Splendid stuff, I like the facial expression on the middle chap, with his open mouth and teeth showing. :)

Fearsome set of gnashers on the chap in the middle of top picture  lol  To quote 'I don't know what they do to the enemy but by God they frighten me!!'  Splendid work.

Great to see them, I think this is the first time I've seen them painted. Nice painting too!

Did you encounter any conflicting info on the color of the horse's equipment?

Not really:Ospreys & Google all seemed to show brown leather, though all were indistinct around the saddle & sundry equipment area.
