Beautiful work, Ray.

Got my vote Ray.

Still not happy with the red.
The LPL pushed me a little too quickly on the start of my British Army to sort out how I want to do the red. Just finished another red coat today and it is getting closer to how I want it to look.
Well done on your entry, Syrinx. Very nice miniatures with an excellent scenic background!

Nice entires both. I'm not sure what I'm going to do about the reds on my 1879 British when I take them on :P
Syrinx, what are the figures you used? I like the look of the Easterling looking guys- that exotic color scheme looks good on them.

I think your reds look good Ray. My post LPL project is a British Zulu force. What red paint range are you using?
I worked too hard on those trees. So hard I screwed up emailing it for round 5. :o

Those are some older GW LOTR plastics my friend's sons have. I'm partial to blues and reds and the kids didn't have color scheme picked out yet. :)

I'm trying Andrea paints. They appear to have a "deeper" color than Foundry and less bright than GW.
