dwarves, chocolate, lovely faces ... however - no tits! But one cannot have everything!
Great entries, once more!
Are these spectrums other then the normal 25-something mm?

Nicz, I though Cream Eggs were UK only!
-
The red jewels on that dwarf in the centre of the three close-ups are superb, Blue! Wow! I mean, all of the painting's great, but the jewels really jumped out at me. Well, and the Creme Egg, of course...
-
Well done!
Blue, did you use a transfer for the cream egg, or was it freehand? lol
-
Hilarious lol lol lol lol

wonder what kind of dragon hatches from a chocolate creme egg? hmmm...
two great sets, both should be proud.

sometimes in the early morning when the mist is still on the fields, these wonderful, but shy creatures can be seen!!
I managed to take a picture before they realized me and flew away!!

Thanks guys! Once again these Ratnik sculpts were a real joy to paint...such great faces! But this whole entry was very touch and go...I almost bagged it on Friday night and put up an old team but stuck it out. There are still a few details on these guys that will need touching up before I consider them really done.
@Hawkeye...I'm quite happy with the jewels as well...and I used a very simple system on them that was suggested to be by a Frothers member. I painted them black...and put white over that where I wanted highlights to be....heavy white around the bottom and side of the jewel and thinner in other spots. Then coated the whole thing Tamiya Clear Red....and....POW...nice jewels! I'm considering buying several other colors from that line as well since it was so easy.
@matakishi...excellent entry friend...what system are those figures for?
Cheers,
Blue

Thanks for the recipe for the jewels, Blue - it sounds like the sort of thing that even someone of my meager abilities could give a try! Plus, I don't have any Tamiya paints, so it would be a good excuse to pick up a couple (particularly since the clear red seems to crop up a lot in recipes for gore on miniatures!).
-
Clever entry Blue, it's as if Ratnik planned those figures to be used that way :)
Crisp colors on Matakishi's, I like the way the accents on the weapons tie them together.
-
Matakishi, is it Spectrum, or Thunderbirds are Go! ? lol lol Got my vote anyway! ;)
-
They're Spectrum officers, not Thunderbird pilots, did you not have a childhood? :o

They're 28mm miniatures from Crooked Dice and I've based them for use with my Future wars rules.
There's a few more to come in a later round.
