Did anyone see it? Any good? Worth to buy?
-
yeah i think the Movie is quite enjoyable, closer to 300 than Clash of the Titans though.i liked the Look of the Gods/Titans and Mickey Rourke as King Hyperion is awesome.(Besides the Gods) there are no Mythical Creatures in Immortals-the Minotaur for example is a Huge Guy with a Bull Helmet.Still a nice Movie, strong Visuals and i liked the Fact that Perseus isnt the over the Top Superhero

You mean Theseus, I'll gues ;)
But as Daniel said, Mickey Rourke is ace, and I have to say I liked the idea of the Minotaur being human in disguise.
But am not sure if I would buy it

I have been meaning to check this out ever since I found out it was directed by Tarsem Singh. He can usually be relied on for stunning visuals -- The Fall was absolutely gorgeous, as was The Cell, even if the plot left something to be desired.

lol lol yeah thats him,i just watched Wrath of the Titans ::)

I absolutely love the work of Tarsem Singh, and this movie does not dissapoint. It has amazing visuals, and whenever a gods shows up for violence, things go bug-nuts crazy.
It's a buy for me.

Not sure it's worth buying for anything more than a fiver, but it's enjoyable. I'd say rent it, to be honest.

The look of the movie is very cool, but the story is weak. This seems to be the thing with Tarsem Singhs movies (The Cell, The Fall, etc...). Very cool visuals, designs & look, very weak stories. Just one fellas opinion.

I thought it was an OK movie. I wouldn't buy it until it hits the $5 bin though.

Yea dont really spend any money on it just grab it from a bargain bin. I didnt even release it was mickey rourke in the film until I saw this thread I knew I recognized the bad guy. The visuals are ace but the story wasnt anything origional. I liked the look of the hoplites and the bad guys good for some gaming ideas

visiting a friend I was able to take a look the first 15-20 minutes of the movie, and well, agree, a bit too slow, not really convinced.
-
And extremely strange as it feels like a mash up between the third lord of the rings film and 300. It just looks very wierd.

I just finished it. It was ok. I think that I'll go back and watch the original Clash of the Titans for inspiration soon though.
