Title: Arctic Skunk's GV03 M11 APC
Post by: Michka on April 12, 2012, 04:02:29 PM: It took me way too long to get this painted. It's a lovely little vehicle and would have been posted before if I hadn't had a mishap with the spray paint. Anyway, here it is...

And here we have a shot of the GV03 with some old Ral Partha 25mm Moderns. These are some of my favorite modern military miniatures ever made. Unfortunately they're too small to fit in with almost anything on the market now. Mongrel Miniatures come pretty close though.

The Denizen minis are around 23-25mm top of base to the eyes, how about the Ral Partha minis?

I'm always looking after a few minis which I could use as armed Colonists for my Aliens-project ;)

I'm not sure how they size up next to Denizen. They tend to be similar in size to the WEG Star Wars and GZG Star Grunt minis. In other words they're your basic 80's 25mm figures.

Sounds like they could work with Denizen too.
May I ask you to measure from top of their base to the eyes?

Would be very helpfull ;)

I tend to think of them as True 25s. If you're interested I think Iron Winds has the masters of these guys. I picked up many of mine from their booth at a convention.

So they will work perfectly with the Denizen minis.

Will see if I find some of them, don't need to much.
