Title: (even more) painted Landsknechte
Post by: Dr.Falkenhayn on 13 April 2012, 01:22:07 AM
Right after Blues and WKs fantastic Landsknechte here is my take on these really gorgeous Minis.Painted these for a fellow LAFer thats why the Weapons are separate (makes shipping easier  ;)) i think they came out fairly nice (at least for a 3Euro per Mini Paintjob  ;))

Outstanding painting.
May I ask, how long did it take to paint a figure?

Fantastic! I especially like the guy with the big sword! (What's he compensating for by the way?)

They look excellent and the price is a bargain for such quality.

Did you use washes or dip to speed it up?

Excellent Work Dr. F!  They look spectacular as a group.

the war priests are also quite special...I did not include them in my order...and may have to think about adding them to a future one after seeing your versions.

Your speed is also quite amazing...I would hate to estimate how much time I put into the 5 I painted....certainly WAY more than an hour a piece!

Cheers,

Blue

I can only echo other chaps. What a paintjob mate!  :-* :-*
they looks really amazing... And yes, a bargain for that price. But I'm really in awe about the time you need to paint one! An hour is really nothing, you are really quick Dr!
Keep going and thanks for sharing.

many thanks Guys, glad you like them.Iam using a Hairdryer to speed Things up.i Probably spent the most Time with Blacklining (Rosemarys Serie 92 7/0 Brush and good old GW Black Ink). After the Basecoat Colors i washed the Minis with watered down Chocolat Brown Ink(No Name Brand sold by Orcs Nest in London),Rest is simple Layering  (Foundry A/B/C Painting system, worths every Penny in my Opinion)
cheers
