By popular demand we have some Mexican infantry in their summer uniform, both command and marching soldados.

These uniforms are quite striking, the red facings against the white shell jacket, white trousers and white shako cover looks great :)
They will need a bit of cleaning and tidying up before they go off to the mould makers, so expect to see them in the webshop in early May.

I like these - and I want some but I just can't start another period! :(
So a bit of a button counter question, if I may, as I can't quite make it out from the pictures - are they wearing short swords on their left hips or is this the bayonet scabbard? If it is a short sword is it "double frogged" with a bayonet scabbard as well?
Thanks very much
-
It's just a bayonet scabbard, except the standard bearer who wears a sword.
-
Thank you - Spanish rather than French then I think :)
-
More great additions Nick. One hell of a range all told, congratulate yourself and Bickley Jnr from me :).
-
Great stuff, I like the fat chap on the right in the command squad :-*
cheers

Up next, more Texians, inc artillerymen, command packs, more Texian skirmishers. Then its onto Mexicans carrying ladders and some Mexican and Texian civilians. :)
-
The Mexican civilians sound good for 18490's Horror/VSF/Western/Super(!) gaming.
Gracias,
Glenn

Still holding out for my US dragoons :D

Very nice indeed! :-*

Just got my first order from you and they are every bit as lovely as I imagined.
Any plans to add a few more presidial troopers? :)
-
There's going to be a tax collectors set which will have a couPle of new Presidales later in the year. I might do a pack of Presidiles skirmishing with swords, but it's not definite.
My main focus is to get all the figures completed for the Texas Revolution this year, then I will add whatever seems appropriate the Zorro inspired games. :)
-
Oh well, I guess that leaves me time to try and paint all the others. lol

This is really a must have for Zorro games! Although a mixed set like these would be even better:

Ok, you have got me interested! I'll see what I can do!
-
Muahahahahahahahaha!

Well I'm convinced now to do Zorro and made my order to Nick just now. I might not be able to fulfil my desire to do the TWI, but I can do Zorro.
WK, I like the idea of Presidales with sword and possible lance skirmishing on foot. The tax collection sounds good from what Nick has mentioned.
Cheers,
Helen

Holding back for some civilians (and because of other recent expenses.)
Almost makes wish I was deployed to the UK in a cross agency/nation position.
Almost.

You shall have all of these, I will definitely do the sword wielding presidiales with a lance armed one and several packs of civilians. Although they will be later in the year.
-
Give your public what they want :D Pretty compelling evidence was presented to be fair ;D

And there was much rejoicing (well, aside from the part where we have to wait for them, but that really can't be helped, I should know). 8)

These miniatures are one of the few things that keep me in 25+ mm figures.
I will be patient.

Well, I'm committed. Posted my first paintjobs of Boot Hill minis on the "Pikes, muskets and flouncy shirts"-forum (wasn't quite sure where to post it, here or there) and am greatly looking forward to these additions (later in the year). 8)
