I hope that they have the blood, sweat and spittle on them that the playtest versions gathered?

Quick question.
In your games Steve, there always seems to be a bit of 'oddness' going on (flying saucers etc) and I was wondering if there is scope for that sort of thing in the rules?

Good question James. Not explicitly in this core set, but we make up the 'oddness' rules using the same basic set of algorithms. So a modern weapon taken back through time would, for example, fire as a HMG, or a flying saucer would have 12 d6 move max and four field gun equivalents,,etc. that way your imagination can run riot. The core to making this happen in a 'believable' (ha!) way is to have a core system that is modular, has consistent logic, and it helps from a statistical pov if you use same side dice throughout (in our case six sided). After that it's as much madness as you can pour on the bonfire....

Very interesting. Can you tell us a little about the mechanics or point us to a thread where you go over them? Many thanks!

Cheers Steve, just the sort of answer I was looking for!

The Partizan Press site is just a showcase rather than a sales point
search in the Caliver website to purchase
That's the easy bit done Steve- now we#ll have to do the army lists & scenario booksthat we are already being asked for!
