I was not sure what to paint next. Again historicals oder something else? I took a look in my miniautre box and found some 15mm Goblins. The idea was born to paint a Hordes of the things army. The army will consist of the following:
1x magician
2x behemoth
1x lurker
5x horde
2x beast
1x flyer

I started painting with some Goblins. Fast and simpel to paint:

Nice, and a good use of Hulk! Who majes the other giant?
-
Leke the Hulk figure. Nice Goblin army, always enjoyed HOTTS.
-
I just love HOTT rules. Nice army! Who makes the goblins?
-
Goblins are from Citadel: Kobolds/Lesser Goblins. I got them as a present.
The other behemoth will be done by myself too. But i have to to decolorize it first before i can paint it again :)
-
Nice stuff. First minis I ever bought was a pack of those lesser goblins, 2 for 40p :)
Btw how did you make the branch with the leaves on that's on the hulk base?
-
Will follow you, the idea is brilliant! =)

Excellent army. Great use of the Hulk. Looking forward to seeing its completion.

Really like everything shown. Great looking cyclops and nice colors. May have to get one of those as he looks like he could go well with my other cyclops kin. You lucked out getting those goblins as a gift!

The Toad Fellow is starting to reach the OH-SO-COOL stage...love the drool. The base is potentially the best one yet...considering the others you've done that's saying something. GREAT WORK!
-
This is a great looking little force.I have a feww of the Lesser Goblins and they are nice little miniatures.
-
Great you like them 8)

the gobs on first page looks like Citadel 28mm Warhammer snotlings, aren't they ? I've got plenty of them, but I thought they were a bit tall for 15mm (comparing to my demonworld orcs, for example).
The painting and basing job stills amazing. Congrats !
-
This army is looking great - love the swamp theme and water effects my favourite would have to be the frog but the Hulks new setting is fantastic too.
-
The Little Guys look TERRIFIC. The wicker shields, the sea critter encrusted staff, & their very expressive faces are all enhance by some fine brushwork. The bases is your usual ubercool. VERY WELL DONE!
-
Concerning swamp gobelins, Chronopia Fallen Lands book is a great source of illustrations, especially for swamp goblins (wich we could name also "jungle gobelins") but also jungle/swamp elves.
Even if you don't play 28mm chronopia games and don't use their figures range, the (most of them) full color books are great companions for alternative fantasy enthusiasts.
-
@ all
thanks for very nice comments
@ sundayhero
these Goblins are not as tall as snotlings but nearly. Maybe they are 18mm?
Thanks for inspiration advises!
@ DeafNala
"Ubercool"... love that word :D
-
Wow! I really like those goblins. Not your typical GW stylee green-skins that many seem to emulate. I like that they are about 18mm too - a good size for the critters being as they are command.
Painting and basing are just out of this world. I really like your angle on this army - looking forward to seeing more; much more! :-*
