This was another tough choice but I returned to my wargaming roots todecide
-
The vote difference does not bear out how long I agonized over this choice....both very nice!

I think those fleshounds are actually pretty nice. I think they might do better if the picture was a bit better though! Good luck guys!

Great work Keith, very nice paint jobs and crisp photography. Braxandur, I love your flesh hound conversions, they look suitably fleshy and much better than the current regular models, well done!

Great work Keith. No shame in losing to your entry :)
The "Flesh Hounds", which are meant to be used as sabertusks in my Chaos themed Ogre Kingdoms Army, are no conversions, just pre-painted plastics from late Rackhams scorpion army with a new paintjob straight over the old one. I had no clue what to do with the carapace on their heads, tried a number of colors and in the end pure black was the nicest. I'm still open to suggestions... Next to this, I tried to be subtle with the painting bruised flesh around the metal parts, whish on the pictures loks even more subtle then it does in RL. Still that was the main thing I tried to learn to do well with this miniatures and I'm pretty happy with how that turned out.
