Title: Mass Effect Shephard Mini
Post by: mmacgregor on April 22, 2012, 10:25:56 PM
Hi,

I commisioned Brother Vinni to sculpt a mini for me and it looks like it is now up for sale on his site. Check it out if you are interested.

Thanks,

Matt

Trouble is, as "Shep" is totally customisable, nobody's Shep looks like anybody else's.

I'd love a Shep figure, but my Shep has tits, is black, and has cropped red hair. She doesn't look anything like the figure.  :)

But even so, I'm commander Shepard, and this is my favourite thread on Lead Adventure.

Quite True! I wish there were more Mass Effect inspired minis out there.

Male and female bodies, plus a bunch of different heads would be cool. I'd so be there.  :)

All the different guns as options would probably be pushing it a bit, though.

I always thought the Geth would make great miniatures. I think I would buy some Geth if somebody made them.

Superb, but yeah, doesn't look like me :)

I'd love some troopers in N7 armour though. And Geth. Geth are cool.

Still pretty awesome.
I'd love to see some Geth and some of the more common allies, like Wrex, Ashley, and Tali.

Very good idea.  I always wanted to get some minis from mass effect universe.
I would like to see some Geths and Krogans in the future. :)

For shepard use either Antenociti's Workshop GOT sci-fi minis or Mike Mcvey's range of sedition wars minis. Both have examples of powered armour body suits in male and female that would fit the bill.

Have to say the commissioned one looks very stilted and static. Not keen tbc, (but then its not my commisson so as long as you are happy, all good.

nice - I like it and might just order a couple.  Agree with CV about G.O.T but take a look at the new Sedition Wars faction...http://dwartist.blogspot.co.uk/2012/04/samaritens.html

I did say those Samaritans were perfect for Shephard, male and female David. ;)

There's a guy selling "Frogan" prints on shapeways that look pretty tempting, but I'm still to dubious of figure prints to try them out:

I've seen the frogans as well, but I'm doubting their quality.  The options for pritn materials all seem to include 'flexible' in the wording.
