Title: From deep within the Underhive
Post by: Ithaquatini on April 25, 2012, 07:19:41 PM
Just though Id post some pics of some gritty Necromunda terrain I scratch built quite a while ago, and a very blurry picture of my Bull Gorg special character conversion (from WFB ogre).

Even slightly blurry, those look great. Been a long time since I played Necromunda. We had some good times with that game.

Nice, where is the fencing on the foot bridge from?

Thanks all!
@Cultist #3  The gray footbridge is made from square plastic tubing and surfaced with plastic textrured sheet.  The railing I belive is Plasticville HO scale railing for railroad scenery, It has a nice gothic touch.
@Scurv  Thanks, its a slime jelly, a jellyfish-like creature that lives in pools of chemical waste.  When it senses disturbances on the surface, it rises up and tries to drag you down with its paralyzing tentacles.  I got the stats from a cool PDF download somewhere called Underhive Bestiary.  The PDF had stats for a bunch of critters from milliasaurs to face eaters.
I plan on making a new playing surface with less orange and green colors, maybe plate steel and concrete, whenever I get the time.  The terrain is supposed to be in a grungy abandoned chem-producing area of the Underhive that was overrun by plague (probably from my Deathguard roots hehe), but im thinking the orange chemical spills and green is a bit much :) .

I quite like the orange chem spills. I use to work at my parent's photo lab, so orange chemical stains kinda remind me of home. It was an odd upbringing.
