Title: Rebel´s near Mao Li
Post by: Grimm on January 28, 2008, 07:15:05 PM: OK here are a new episode of the fights for Mao Li .
The British use a different tactic now .
They know that there are some peasant´s with rebel or socialistic tendencies and with enugh monny it can be a rebelion .
So they send Sir Montague Rutherford to contact the Rebel Leaders at a village
near Mao Li .
As a matter of course the Warlord knows that there are people that mean he is a dictator and he send his secret police to muzzle these Rebel´s .
Both partys get in the village at the same time .
Lets see what happends ........................

We play the 45 adventure Rules (http://www.rattrap-productions.com/) and we play the Senario chapter 2 from the Amazing War Story Rule Book.

The British have one Grade 3 and two Grade 2 Heros
(Sir Montague Rutherford,Sgt. Ralph Murdock,Harry Müller)

The Chinese Warlords have two Grade 3 and wo 172 Grade Models
(Hack Man Zu and A yung Fu Man Schu )

The Gamers are Heino (warlords) and Jörg (British) two club buddies

Night Time

only at the Lotus temple is some light
a few girls still working to get the mony of a seamen

Rutherford and his chaps arrived at the northend of the town

also Fu Man Schu and Hack Man Zu get into the town

the chinese begin to seek the streets quikly but the Lotus Girls are to interesting for them

Harry jumps over a wall to seek the eastend

Then Sir Montague Rutherford try to do the same !!!!

Heino and me burst out laughing because Rutherford get a BIG minus for climbing .
He has a old battle wound on his legs
Then Jörg roll a dice and ........

Fu Man Schu hide in the dark corners of the westend

but Sgt. Ralph Murdock detect him and fire a few shots

BAM BAM !!!!! AAAHHHH !! Fu Man Schu get a head wound !!
quickly a trooper run to his wounded master .

meanwhile Rutherford find one of the rebel Leaders ,the old war veteran.
He is so old that he was a part of the Boxer rebellion !!??

Hack Man Zu make a run to stop Rutherford but he diden´t have enough inch to reach him : (

Now things get worse for the British

Harry find the informer and she make it to the table edge in one turn

and a chinese trooper find the other Rebel Leader and beat her with his rifle butt immediately !!!

BUT

Rutherford get out his concealed weapon ,a sword cane, and defend aganst
Hack Man zu ´s frezy attack .

In the next turn things get realy wild at the battlefield

Fu Man Schu and the trooper beat the hell of out of the poor rebel girl .
The headwound of Fu Man Schu stop him using his good examination skills

At Harrys back two new Guards arrived .
they be alert by the informer.
Harry diden´t think about it and fire his two pistols in the hand to hand combat of Rutherford !!!

He hit Hack Man Zu and he fails his Guts check !!!
The Swordmen run away from the melee and Rutherford can persuade the Rebel ..

Thanks Grimm, that's what I thought, but I've been scouring eBay for a couple of days and can't find anything similar. Is by any chance the soft-top a conversion?

You must have a huge number of boards you use... I noticed you have fully detailed ground... so you dont use a mat or cloth to cover your tables but fully finished terrain boards?

I saw a photo album your gaming group posted about a recent gaming convention... every game had outstanding miniatures and scenery. Very impressive. Perhaps you would like to adopt me? :) Or I could be the club mascot? :lol:

these are the club boards but my ones be equal only that my boards a 60x60 cm and not 60x120 cm. I like a fully finished terrain board where you only addit a few things like woods or buildings because it looks much better.
And don´t forgett a nice looking board is 50 % of the gaming fun :wink:
