I'm just browsing through the Mega Minis store (slow day at work), and am wondering, if there's any other sources for animal wildlife out there?
I'd like to find coyotes, and coiled up rattlers ready to bite, in 25/28 mm.
Any suggestions?

Check for old Citadel swarms on ebay.

Black Tree does a number of swarm stands under their fantasy miniatures range, one of which is a snake swarm with several coiled snakes (they look a bit like cobras from the photo but maybe you could trim/file the 'hood' down a bit?)

I have no idea for Coyotes, most manufacturers produce some form of wolf or dog so perhaps you could use those?

Go with Crocodile's coyotes. They are actually jackals but could easily pass for coyotes using the right colours.

Some of the D&D miniatures from Wizards of the Coast might be useful.
I think they do wolves and cougars that look acceptable, their snakes are usually too big, but the latest set "Desert of Desolation" has swarms of Scarab beetles etc.
You find them on eBay occasionally.

I just went through my cellar - and found 3 old citadel swarms: Beetles, Scorpions, and SNAKES! The snakeswarm has at least 2 coiled rattlers

Oh, and I also found a very strange blister called Night Horrors, containing what seems to be a werewolf, a demon, a Deep One(?), and something resembling a chair with a dragon's head... something for my S&S upcoming project...

There's actually no less than 4 rattlers, 2 cobras, and 4 generic snakes gliding along the ground... 8)
