Post by: shadowking1957 on May 12, 2012, 08:33:13 PM: Yep been going since it was at the victoria hotel many many years ago hehehehhehehheh, good show i like the new venue but the staff there i belive dislike gamers intently, ask them where the cafe and tolets are and see the reaction i tested it last year becuse of my interaction on the first, very odd staff the ga,ers are fine the place great and the convention good but those staff at the sporst hall were one strange bunch

Been every year, but will unfortunately miss it this time.

I got up to go this morning, and found the car had a flat tyre... half an hour in the rain later and I still can't loosen the wheelnuts. :'(

Walked back into the house, dripping water, and gave the wife the sad news that I'd be missing the show.

She just gave a quick smile, and said 'Well, why not spend the day finally opening the boxes of stuff you bought there last year? or the year before? or...'

Women! They just don't understand. She'll be expecting me to paint the stuff next!
