A quick scratch build of Tik Tok from return to OZ, he measures 22mm from foot to eye - so is just about accurate to the movie in 28mm scale, No hands as yet though.
sorry for the bad pics, night time crossed with a camera flash is a bad creature indeed.

I like this. How did you make him?
-
@froggy, the main body is a 20mm diameter wooden bead, with greenstuff details and a westwind British gas-mask head (front "snout?"removed and replaced with a greenstuff mustache) the legs are plastic rod as are the arms and the feet are the corners from wargames factory sprues (the bits that enable you to stack them)

Cracking!!!

Superb!
Be sure to show us him in a better light when you can, Old Chap!
:D

Nice work. I may have to steal this idea.

Nice! Though, if I were to do it myself, (and I have given it thought in the past) I would use little springs for the legs.

I did think of using the springs from inside "clicky pens" but on an expedition to Venus I prefer the springs inside - corrosion and whatnot, i'm the same with GW space marines with bionics, safer in side the armour

Well, if you're going to fall back on 'logic'... lol
Even from the piccies, first rate!
I despair of both the imagination, and the steel, to see such to the end.

Like many have said, I'd love to see a better/ bigger photo.

Your definition of "quick" and my definition are apparently two completely different things. lol
