Title: Dus Tactics miniatures and 1/48 miniatures
Post by: YIU on May 16, 2012, 12:28:51 PM
Can someone tell me if 1/48 miniatures such as Tamiya are compatible in size with Dust Tactics miniatures (infantry of course), mainly for conversions.

Photos would be welcome. Thanks

Im not sure if they have DUST figs in their. I saw a picture somewhere but DUST mini's are the same height as SOTR and AE-WW2 figs but are alot thinner. more true scale then heroic.

Dust minis are closer in dimension to 1/48 scale, (it's what they're marketed as being) but they're not quite as thin looking as the more scale accurate Tamiya stuff, which imo makes them look a bit big compared to SotTR  minis (the mechs however look fine). so, in answer to your question, they look fine next to Tamiya figures, just a little chunkier,
       Hope this helps.
