Title: Early War Poles vs Slovaks "Hold the line" AAR
Post by: Anatoli on 22 May 2012, 11:22:20 AM
A happy return to Early War FoW for my part as I sould my DAK army and decided I'll stick with EW and the Polish army which I love playing. Never really worked out with the FoW Mid-War stuff for me.

Anyway, played two Early War games last weekend, first one was against Andreas who ran his Slovak army based on the SS in the Blitzkrieg book. I had met his army before during the last Early War tournament and it had been a very fun and close game.

I myself tried a new "build" for my Polish Infantry Battalion which included a tiny train and some other options to make the army both work in the role of attacker and defender. It had always been hard to attack with the infantry battalion in my past games. I will keep playing this army list a few more times to see how it works against various enemy armies. So far I think it did very well.

Whole AAR and more pictures on my blog:

It's always a pleasure to see your polish troops in action.
Your FoW and 28mm stuff is really great.
It's good to see this kind of unusual armies on the battlefield.
