Title: Painted Empress Modern Combat Minis (07.01.12 Hobos added)
Post by: FunkyBrush on May 27, 2012, 06:08:38 PM: Hi Guys! I started collecting and painting Empress Modern Combat minis. And I thought I'll share my progress with you guys. Why? Because you are awesome! And besides that I'm wondering if you can reccommend me some nice modern skirmish rules.

Here are the first of them. British special forces (SAS? SBS? Who knows?!).

As for rules I am looking at ARSE http://homepage.ntlworld.com/roweller/ARSE/BAD%20ARSE%20rules.pdf
these are free and designed to re-create the first person shooter, look like alot of fun.
I also bought Operation Squad Modern Rules from Empress, from what I've read these look very good, I may end up combining elements of both.

I'm working on some Americans SF right now. Multicam is driving me nuts. I have no clue how to paint the ACU when starting US Army figs.

I have looked at the figures a number of times
and they just did nothing for me.
I do own all the other figure in the range, love them.
After seeing your's I think I will order them.
Hope I can paint them even close to the great job you have done.
