As it is frequently requested by newcomers some advices about choosing a WW2 miniatures rule, i have decided to begin this thread to list the available rules for playing WW2 battles with miniatures.
It is a neverending task, so please don't hesitate to submit rules without forgeting to give a link to the official website or the place where they are available.

Hi,
I think that Battleground is still available. It is for 20mm - 28mm and has some chart updates for those who want to play 15mm. I would say hat it is platoon level, though you mount figures individually. And movement is done by squads.

The Arc of Fire links don't work, you can't click on them.
I would suggest adding a space between each game.
Also, I would change Disposable Heroes to include DH: Point Blank also (squad level rules).
May be asking too much but would be helpful to the newbies may be these two items:
1) Price
2) Pros/Cons to the system. Examples like d6, d10, etc...Rules just cover the big 4 or lesser armies like the Polish, Italians, etc...order of play and so forth, just some general bits of data.
When I was doing my research on what system to get I went with Iron Ivan after a close fight against VD (sounds like I need to go to the clinic now) and ROE. What won Ivan over is that people local already play (so more players to access), the turn order and the fact there is a sourcebook that covers lesser armies.

I'd add Two Fat Lardies' Troops, Weapons & Tactics. It's for platoon sized combat.

Perhaps worth mentioning Free Wargames Rules' WW2 listings as well:

If you have a web adress for the Battleground WW2 rules it would be helpful.
If some users want to describe their favorite miniature ruleset in 4 to 5 lines of text, don't hesitate and i will add them to the first post.
I have updated the first post following most of the suggestions. ;)
Thanks for your input.
