I had a very dangerous idea involving David Drake's book "Ranks of Bronze". To that end, does anyone know which figures would be a good match for the Romans defeated at Carrhae? Scale-wise, I'm looking for something compatable with Mancha's Hinterland line or just a little bigger. I've seen illustrations that would indicate a variety of different armor configurations for that battle.

A defeated Roman legion is sold into slavery to alien traders seeking low tech soldiers to be used in conflicts to secure trading rights on alien planets. Their new masters soon learn that the Romans are the best low tech fighters that can be found. Given their worth as soldiers and success on the battlefield, the Romans' alien masters provide them with everything, including near immortality. for Carrhae (53 BC) the Foundry Caesarin Romans are your best choice. They're made by Copplestone and you will find anything you want, rank & file, great centurions, heroic poses and some lovely tributes. I've never seen a comparison Hinterland to Romans but I would guess they should be compatible
