Title: Dishonored, VSF material?
Post by: Raxxus on 02 June 2012, 03:12:40 PM
Hi,
I thiught that this would fit here and be useful as inspiration of VSF stuff.

I hope this game is good, looks very interesting and have been on my radar for about a month. Hopefully the combat is "realistic" / lethal.  It would be a shame to have weak combat like in Bioshock when both this and Bioshock looked so good.

Very impressive visually. Those walkers look nice and the gratuitous gore looks pretty good too. Am actually really looking forward to this. The Bethesda logo gives me some hope too.  :D

Nah fail. Too gritty... not VSF to me at all.  :)

Indeed.

Steampunk, perhaps.

Could easily be steam punk (or even Horror I suppose - in the broadest sense of horror.)

No, I am not familiar with the game or back story.

Gracias,

Glenn

My thoughts too. I don't see why graphic killing has to be the nucleus a game is built. I'd much rather an engaging mystery or puzzle or at least something other than gratuitous violence.
