I recently finished some of my Lead Adventure dwarves. Some of them still lack shields, I will add these when the rest of the warband is ready.

btw, some lovely stuff on your blog too.

Very nice, Stahlfürst. Thanks for sharing. I am currently binging on terrain, but those dwarves are on my desk, clamoring for attention. Inspiration is always appreciated!

Very cool looking little guys.
I can see that you take more time to paint than dirty me.
I like the house wall!
Is it scratch built or bought? I'd like to see a shot of the whole house.

Thanks for the kind words!
At first I wanted to paint the clothes in blue. I even started to apply a blue basecoat (camera revealed some spots of blue not visible to the eye). But everyone seems to paint dwarven warriors in blue, so I pained one in black and liked it.
@ GS - I like yours too, and they motivated me to take the pictures. And they have shields.
The house is made by Thomarillion (http://www.thomarillion.de/index.php?seite=home&unterseite=&modell=&pos=&sprache=gb_&PHPSESSID=e9blo59mkc91fs30ts8d31pol4) (produced by Ziterdes and painted by myself).
I'd love to do scenic shots, but will have to find a way to stabilize my camera first. I'm thinking about getting a simple tripod.
I recieved my LAM landsknechts today. They will take priority over the dwarves. I want to paint some pseudo-historical humans for Brink of Battle first.

Bruegelburg Metal Militia -- great figures and I'm amazed how well they turned out. Painting them was great fun!
I also added a comparison picture of a dwarf next to an Otherworld goblin.
Thanks for looking

You took the best out of those miniatures. Keep on that way!

That's a nice cohesive group of dwarves you have painted. They look great! :-*
The Metal Militia is also coming along nicely. :)
