I've updated my blog with pics of a 7cm/2.5" plastic collectable Gundam Gashapon that I'll be using as a 15mm mecha.

Very nice little kit.I am sure I have seen these in Travellingman.
-
Fantastic. I have an army of the 1/144 ones I'll have to get around to painting one day. Where did you get yours?
-
@manic_miner - What's Travellingman?
@Hat Guy - I picked this up on eBay from a seller in Singapore for £2.60 including postage - a bargain!! I have a few more ordered and will post pics when they arrive.

Travellingman is a comic shop.We have one in Newcastle just down from Forbidden Planet.

What seller handle on eBay for those looking to pick up some? :-)

Hold on, let me grab a few more for myself before posting.... lol ;D lol
-
Okay, grabbed a small pile of these. I hope they don't arrive when the wife is at home ;)
Here's the link to the guy I bought my last lot from....

11 sets sold eh? Guess you were busy. :-)
I have always liked the Zaku's from the series. Nice to see there are some.

Lol, I didn't buy 11 sets of those. In fact I didn't buy that set, just individuals ones from the same seller. I have picked up a few others from different sellers that should arrive within a week or two though.
Meanwhile I have a larger 85cm Zaku to paint, plus a Ball that I'm going to use as a very large spaceport cargo lifter droid.
-
Added a new re-painted Gundam mini. This time a Ball, which I'm using as a heavy cargo loader. Took a while to get this looking battered, dirty and used.

That looks the part. I could see it as a one-man bathysphere, too.
-
I've added a "work in progress" of some more Gundam models I'm repainting for my 15mm scifi setting on my blog and will post more pics here as I progress. http://eclipsingbinaries15mm.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/mecha-using-gundam-gashapons.html

I have a stash of around 20 of those bloody things. They are in a dark sliver/metallic coloured plastic. Reckon anyone would be interested in them if I stick a few pics up?
-
Spevna, is that the little ones? These are larger 70mm versions, but feel free to post pics on this thread.

Yep, that would be them. They are about half that.
Just had a rummage around and found about twenty odd. Shall get some pics up sometime soon.

I have some of the smaller ones as well. Repainted them with the idea to use them as heavy power armour or something...

Oh wow, that brings back memories. I used to have a couple of the 70mm models years ago when I was more into that sort of thing.
If I recall, they also came with some pretty nice armoured vehicles which were in scale with the gundams.
Both the mecha and the vehicles would probably be suitable for 10mm or 15mm figures.

Nice little robots/mechas/thingamabobs you've got there.

I gave those exact ones. I am in the process of converting them into power armored orks.

Fairly big stash of the little buggers.

Any links as to where you can get them from?
Thanks,

I've started using my store as the alternate address, though it's SO much less about money, and more about 'that damn junk...'
:'( She's right, you know.
Say, those little guys DID paint up nicely, I must say.

Duncan, just search on eBay. You may have to work through quite a few pages if you just type in Gundam though.

New Gundam painted for my 15mm scifi Federal Army...
