Hello,
not strictly a WWII ruleset, but I was wondering if someone could explain me the difference between Iron Ivan's Disposable heroes coffin for 7 brothers and Point blank?
If I understand correctly, both are meant for skirmish games, but Point blank is made for even smaller scale, down to a squad?
I am mostly interested in point blank, if my assumptions are correct and if someone could also tell me, how big should the table be for PB and if it can be solo played by any way?
Thanks for help and sorry if I've posted that in wrong subforum,
Mathyoo

Depending on if you see this reply before my yahoo group reply:
I think your assumption is correct, but I don't own DH to be able to explain the differences.
I have been playing PH solo but modifying the solo system from NMRIH, as seen on my blog: http://shelldrakewargames.blogspot.com.au/p/vietnam-war.html (http://shelldrakewargames.blogspot.com.au/p/vietnam-war.html)

Saw your post on Yahoo also, figure I would save typing. I don't have Point Blank yet but here is the differences I know.
Point Blank is squad based, so usually a handful of models (a dozen or so) maybe a vehicle depending.
Disposable Heroes is platoon level, so several squads and armor makes an apperance here.
As for solo play, not sure if PB allows for that. The core Disposable heroes rules mentions nothing. I do know that NUTS is based on solo or both players can be on the same side in games there with the opponents based on charts and such...not sure of the details.... I figure you could adapt the game to solo play if you wanted.
